Setup iOS 26 Email

The purpose of this page is to describe how to set up an OlympusNet email account on an iOS device. If your account is already set up and you need to make changes to it, go to Change iOS 26 Email Settings.

The email setup for iPads is similar to iPhones.

Domain customers use janedoe@your-domain.com wherever janedoe@olympus.net appears below, and mailc11.megamailservers.com for the Host Names.

  1. Select the Settings icon from the Home screen, select Apps, then select Mail

  3. Select Add Account

  4. Enter Your Email Address, then Select Next

  5. Select Add Other Account

  6. Select Mail Account
    Select Mail Account

  7. New Account
    Enter your spelled out name Jane Doe, email address, then password which is blanked out in the following image.
    Your password is Required.
    The Description field is free-form, so you can write anything.
    This field is useful for disambiguating multiple OlympusNet email accounts.
    Olympus Jane Doe is a good choice for a single account.
    All the fields are Required. None are optional.
    The Incoming and Outgoing Host Name for janedoe@olympus.net is: mail.userservices.net
    The Incoming and Outgoing Host Name for janedoe@your-domain.com is: mailc11.megamailservers.com
    Select Next when the fields are all filled out.

  8. The device will attempt to connect to both Incoming (IMAP) and Outgoing (SMTP) mail servers during a verification cycle.
    If the verification cycle succeeds, the following window appears.
    We recommend enabling Notes. See Use Notes on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
    Select Save,then exit the setup by repeatedly selecting the left arrow at the top left of each window to return to the lock screen.
    Successful Verification

    Send a test email from your account to your account on the device you’ve been working with to verify that mail is working.

  9. If the verification fails, messages such as the following appears …
    Cannot Send Receive

    It’s best to save the setup even if it has errors in order to avoid repeating the entire setup.
    To fix setup errors see point 11 below.

    Cannot Connect SSL

    SSL is a security concern, so it’s best to not set up the account. Contact Customer Support.
