Change iOS 26 Email Settings

For general questions about changing email settings, consult
Change your Mail settings on iPhone - Apple Support

The purpose of this page is to describe how to change the settings on an iOS 26 device
previously set up with OlympusNet email using Setup iOS 26 Email.

Use these instructions if a password has been changed, or if there were errors during the setup of the device.
The most common setup error is mistyping the email password.

These instructions are for iPhones and iPads using IMAP.

  1. Select the Settings gear icon from the Home screen.
At the bottom of Settings, select Apps.

  2. Scroll through the Apps which are in alphabetical order, and select Mail
    Apps

  3. Next select Mail Accounts.
    Select Mail

  4. Select your OlympusNet account (probably called Olympus).
    Select Olympus

  5. The title of the next window is your account name, probably Olympus.
    Select Account Settings.
    Select Account Settings

  6. Scroll down to the Incoming Mail Server. If you’ve changed the email password with OlympusNet staff, remove the dots in the password field and type in the new Password.
If there were errors during set up, double-check that there are no typos in the Host Name.
The screenshot shows the Host Name for an olympus.net account’s Incoming Mail Server.
Check that its spelling is correct.
In the User Name field, check that there are no typos in your email address.
If there were no typos in the other fields, your password likely is incorrect.
    Retype your password.
You’re finished with the Incoming Server.
Under Outgoing Mail server, check that to the right of SMTP appears mail.userservices.net.
Touch that line - ‘SMTP mail.userservices.net’ to take you to the Outgoing Server’s settings.
    Select SMTP

  7. In the dialog box titled SMTP, under Other SMTP Servers, verify that all entries, if any, are Off.
    Under Primary Server select mail.userservices.net.
    SMTP

  8. In the dialog box titled mail.userservices.net, check that the Host Name and User Name contain no typos.>
If none are apparent, retype the password then select Done in the upper right.
The device will verify the settings.
Important: the email address and password are NOT optional, even if the word Optional appears in a field.
Enter the same data in all three fields as before in the Incoming server settings.
    The screenshot shows the settings.

  12. Select Done in the upper-right corner when finished.
  13. The device will verify the settings with the mail servers. Select Save if the dialog box appears.

  14. The device will attempt to connect to the SMTP server.
If it displays an error, repeat steps 8 through 14.
  15. Select the left arrow at the top of the SMTP window, taking the device back to the Account Settings window.
If the Done icon appears, select it to verify that the device will connect to the incoming IMAP server.
  16. Continue selecting the left arrow to back out of the Mail app.
  17. In the lock screen, select the Mail icon and send a test email from the account just set up to the same account to verify that the account can both send and receive email.
